For the first time in at least a year, my Autodromo is back on my wrist and working beautifully. Getting it repaired on a budget was a bit of an adventure, which ultimately led me to Brad Price, the guy behind Autodromo. (Who also happens to be one of the nicest people out there). And now, mine is probably one-of-one with a white date dial, because of reasons

Probably because they just ordered a replacement 6003.D from Rhonda and didn’t bother with the black calendar dial >.>
What happened to it? It’s not usual that a quartz movement would have an issue besides a battery, and they’re good for almost over 3 years.

Correct in that it’s a replacement movement, but I bought it with the intention of repairing it myself. It didn’t go as planned...
I dropped it on the floor while taking it off one day, and it somehow broke the movement without breaking the crystal (thankfully!)

Yeah, it was a Christmas gift back when they first came out. All of the newer ones have gotten more and more pricey, but I might still buy one when I graduate.

Very nice. My watch repair situation is a little more... Homebrew. It is back together and running about 5 minutes an hour fast. So tonight it comes apart again. I should probably go your route and let somebody else do it, but I don’t think it’ll be an actual watchmaker. Pretty cool!

Thanks. The 7S26 adjustment is right above the hairspring so if your pliers slip, you pretty much permanently break the watch. I'm a little nervous.

Bwa ha ha it’s back! With moar tire tread strap! But it’s gained 6 minutes since I put it on 10 hours ago so I need to work on it some more I guess.
